
We have a lot to be proud of at Raymore Credit Union. Our members have never been more satisfied. We're rooted in the past but growing strong in new directions, offering members investment, insurance and planning services that are second to none. In 1949, true to the pioneering ‘get it done' spirit of our community, a few community members decided to create a credit union that would put people and their financial needs first. That was the beginning of Raymore Credit Union. We started out in one tiny room at the back of the local Co-op store. At our first annual general meeting we had 40 members. Today we are more than 3300 members and 3 branches strong.
We've come a long way since that tiny room, but the most important things haven't changed. Raymore Credit Union continues to fulfill a vision to work together and grow our communities. Everything we do is about being, and offering, the best choice for our members and the communities that we're all proud to work and live in. At Raymore Credit Union, we put our money where our mouth is. We do this by supporting various charitable organizations that allow our communities to flourish. We also do this by providing solid, meaningful employment in our towns. We take this one step further by encouraging our staff to actively volunteer at community events. Our staff members respond to this challenge by happily volunteering at least 15 hours annually.
